Plus don't miss
the brand new ride for 2012 - Atmosfear! This brand new
ride moves passengers through 360 degrees in all three dimensions
so the arm rotates over the top with the end of the arm
also rotating as do the actual passenger seats. The ride
is about 23 metres high at the top of the swing.
Apart from all the modern rides that have visited the fair
before like the Rock Rage, Mouse Coasters, the Reverse Bungee,
Superstar, Frisbee, Top Buzz, Starflyer, Take Off, Stargate,
Crazy Bulls, Bombers and Chaos there are also all the favourites
such as Twists, Dodgems, Ghost Trains, Superbowls, Matterhorns,
Waltzers, Miamis and the Giant Wheel. For traditionalists
there are the Gallopers, the Cakewalk and Helter Skelters
plus many more. There are also a couple of old favourites
that haven't attended the fairs for a few years with a Superbob
that last appeared in 2008 and a renovated Super Skid which
hasn't attended the Goose Fair for over 20 years.
Along with the traditional Goose Fair food of mushy peas
and mint sauce, candy floss and brandy snaps, visitors could
eat their way around the world with chestnuts and doughnuts
to food from the Caribbean, Chinese noodles, Indian kebabs,
Spanish churros, paella and French crepes.
Come along and experience the dazzling array of sights and
sounds!
