A magical festive scene will be created in Old Market Square
for Christmas 2014. Sparkling Christmas lights, an outdoor
ice-rink and winter bars, 50+ olde style Christmas craft
& gift cabins are just a few of the attractions for
all the familly to enjoy.
Christmas Lights
The 2014
Christmas lights switch-on takes place on Friday 21st
November. Make sure you come along to the Old Market Square
for an evening of entertainment live from the stage starting
at 5.30pm with the lights switch-on at around 630pm.
Christmas Market
The Christmas Market promises to
be the best ever for 2014! Traditional style market cabins
will surround the ice-rink in the centre of the Square,
along Smithy Row and Long Row, selling all manner
of Christmas gifts, crafts, hot & cold food and drink.

Entertainment
There is something for the whole familly! The ever popular
outdoor
ice-skating makes a welcome return with an even bigger
size rink for 2014. There will also be entertainment for
the children incuding the unique "Santa's Toy Ride",
Fairground Carousels, plus a magnificent Helter Skelter!
