Nottingham's
Outdoor Ice
Skating Rink - Christmas 2014
Old Market Square, Nottingham
20th November 2014– 4th January 2015
A 'bigger and better' out-door ice skating rink is the centrepiece
attraction of the 'Winter Wonderland' transformation of
Nottingham's Old Market Square during Christmas 2014.
The outdoor ice skating rink in Nottingham
has been hugely popular over the years, and to accommodate
the expected large number of skaters this Christmas, the
2014 rink is the largest ever!
The ice-rink is surrounded by 'Olde English'
market stalls, sparkling decorations and amazing Christmas
lights, and is just one of the many Christmas attractions
in and around the Old Market Square.
There is the ever popular Christmas
market with over fifty individual stalls selling all
kinds of Christmas gifts and bric-a-brac. Fairground rides
for all ages, from the gentle carousels for the children
and 'gravity inducing' ones for the adults. Lots of hot
& cold food stalls and two unique 'Christmas Style'
outdoor bars where you can enjoy real ale, hot toddies,
mulled wine, spiced cider and lots more.
